Movements are not just a reflection of the nervous system, but the language of it.
Because our movements are the result of an on-going neurological conversation between our brains and our bodies, they can be used as a means to inform us of the state of the nervous system..and as a mechanism to improve it.
In this practice we use sensory awareness and synchronization techniques to help make our movements (and the nervous system) more calm, fluid and smooth.
This approach to movement seeks to improve the brain’s ability to sense and organize itself in space allowing for more ease, better balance, and increased efficiency of movement.
